In the beginning of 2022, we received our first grant from the City of Albuquerque and the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund. 90 Artists were chosen for this award and we are so grateful to have the support. Sopapilla Productions interviewed our Ring Leader on what we care about and how this grant was used.

The Conservation Carnivale is a science circus!

We create novel and entertaining ways to educate and celebrate ecosystems in the Middle Rio Grande Watershed. We come with a mobile classroom (the Green Machine Museum Theatre) and live costumed performances!

About our Crew

Our Ring Leader Endion has 15 years of professional experience in conservation psychology & environmental education. They wanted to bring some levity to these subjects while continuing the conversation how important they are:

" I have seen how powerful having fun while learning can be. Using a circus theme to convey important messages creates a deeper connection. Travelling circuses are joyful and really cool, and I truly believe using this art form is a powerful mechanism to communicate. "

Alongside Endion is a community of intelligent, multi-talented & devoted Carnies with diverse backgrounds.

We are a collective of artists, performers, makers, dreamers, mechanics, inventors, teachers, scientists, students, therapists….any and all types of folks!

Contact us if you want to become a carnie!

We are always open to include YOU in this community. Whether you want to be silly, have fun with friends, reach a new audience to share your passion, find a new way to express a conservation concern, or just need an excuse to wear that costume you have hanging in your closet...COME JOIN US!

We do not discriminate and are always open to new ideas and energy.

Our carnies consist of everyone and anyone willing to be a part of this vision!
